An adult must accompany any child under 12 at all times. An adult must accompany all children for the first class. We have a minimum age of 10 years old for children wishing to participate in our beginners courses, due to the size and weight of the equipment they will be using.
Dates for the Beginners Courses –
We are thankfully back up and running, but due to the demand during Covid, all our beginners courses are booked up until January 2023. You can still apply for a place and if one comes available it will be offered to the next person on the list, so you never know, you might get a place sooner.
All equipment is provided for the duration of the course and is covered by the cost of the course. The equipment provided is:
- Finger-tab
- Arm-guard
- Quiver
- Arrows
- Bow
Advice is given to participants on the correct equipment suited to them individually, should they wish to continue in the sport and purchase their own equipment.
If you are interested in attending a course, you can contact us using the email address shown below.
To book a place on a course we require a €20.00 non refundable deposit to confirm your place on a course as places are in high demand. If for some reason you are unable to attend the course, we will defer you to the next available course. We will do that three times, after the third deferral we will remove your name from the list. We operate a ‘first come, first served’ policy, in Dundrum Archers. Any cancellations are always offered to the next person on the list and you will not be on the list until you have paid a deposit.
